Josefine recently returned home from Marbella and Malaga, two locations in Spain that she cherishes deeply. As part of the country's Costa del Sol, Marbella lies just 36 miles southwest of Malaga and is easily accessible by car, bus, or train, making it a prime destination. 

With about 24 beaches spanning miles of coastline, it's clear that a day or two at the beach is a must if you’re visiting Marbella. Josefine has become so familiar with the area that she spends her time there like a local now. 

Beyond the beach, it just so happens Malaga is the birthplace of renowned artists like Pablo Picasso, Félix Revello de Toro, and Jorge Rando – for any art enthusiasts reading this. This location has become a vibrant hub for art and culture. With Malaga’s rich architectural heritage and diverse cultural scene, the area is often dubbed “the new Barcelona,” making it the most cosmopolitan city in southern Spain.

One of the greatest joys of traveling—whether abroad or anywhere away from home—is immersing yourself in the local cuisine.
