This contributes directly to the exceptional quality in ViX pieces produced by graduates, including the Bia Tube models. Our CASA ViX program attracts students eager to learn, grow, and shape brighter futures for themselves through hands-on courses in sewing, embroidery, and other essential skills. Instructors, Fabiana Bello Teixeira and Camila Cordeiro dos Santos, embody the heart of our initiative.

Their personal journeys have not only shaped their own success but have also become powerful sources of inspiration for the next generation of CASA ViX graduates. Their dedication and passion play a pivotal role in equipping students with the confidence, and professional experience needed to thrive outside the classroom. Here’s a closer look at their stories and the profound impact they have on the CASA ViX community.

From Student to Mentor: Meet Fabiana Bello Teixeira

"Seeing their growth was incredibly rewarding. It reminded me of my own journey and how far I’ve come." - Fabiana

Fabiana Bello Teixeira is one of many inspirational CASA ViX instructors. She first joined the program as a student, and like many women seeking new opportunities, she came to refresh her skills and learn new techniques, such as crochet. But what started as a personal learning experience quickly became a professional turning point for her.

"Being a student boosted my confidence significantly,” Fabiana shares. “I not only refined my existing skills but also discovered new ones that became an additional source of income for me. That experience transformed how I saw my potential.

"My hope is that my students apply what they’ve learned, whether here at ViX or in new ventures beyond."

Fast forward to today, and Fabiana is now an instructor for CASA ViX, guiding students as they embark on their own journeys. Watching them progress from complete beginners to confident artisans is a deeply fulfilling experience.

"One of the most emotional moments for me was the graduation of the first group I helped train,” she sentimentally recalls. “Seeing their growth was incredibly rewarding. It reminded me of my own journey and how far I’ve come.

For Fabiana, CASA ViX is more than a training program—it’s a space for reinvention. "This program helps us see new possibilities for ourselves. My hope is that my students apply what they’ve learned, whether here at ViX or in new ventures beyond.

A Full-Circle Moment for Camila Cordeiro dos Santos

"It's not just about acquiring a practical skill -- it's about building a network of empowerment." - Camila

For Camila Cordeiro dos Santos, CASA ViX represents a return to her roots and a chance to give back to the community. Camila’s journey with ViX began in 2011 as a fashion designer. Her love for embroidery, however, started long before that—at the age of 12, when she learned the craft from her aunt.

"I’ve been teaching at CASA ViX since the very first Freehand Embroidery course,” Camila explains. “It’s been a transformative experience, both personally and professionally. I found the perfect opportunity to share my passion for embroidery with people who might not otherwise have access to professional courses.

Camila shares the rich history and cultural significance of embroidery, helping students appreciate its evolution across cultures and its modern-day applications. She hopes to equip them with the skills and mindset to navigate the job market, start independent ventures, or launch service-based businesses.

"In my classes, I want my students to see the versatility of embroidery,” she says. “The techniques they learn can be applied to fashion, accessories, interior design, and even contemporary art. This opens up a world of creative and professional opportunities.

The Heart of CASA ViX

For both Fabiana and Camila, CASA ViX is about more than teaching a craft—it’s about creating a supportive community.

We foster a space where women can learn, grow, and support each other,” Camila explains. “It’s not just about acquiring a practical skill—it’s about building a network of empowerment.

For local Brazilian women, CASA ViX offers a comprehensive understanding of the creation process, from concept to execution. “This foundation is essential for anyone looking to build a career or start their own business,” Camila continues. “But it’s also about building autonomy and self-esteem, which are just as important.

Fabiana echoes this sentiment. “It brings a sense of fulfillment to know that I’m contributing to something meaningful. Teaching here allows me to play a small part in helping women see their potential and step confidently into new opportunities.

Upon completing CASA ViX courses, many students find themselves returning to ViX as a hired employee or reintegrating into the job market with newfound self-esteem and valuable skills. This cycle of learning, growth, and opportunity is what makes CASA ViX a beacon of empowerment for women in the community.

At its core, CASA ViX is more than a program —it’s a testament to the power of education, mentorship, and community. Through the dedication of instructors like Fabiana and Camila, CASA ViX continues to shape and inspire both current and future generations.
